The application window for the Community & Coast Fund officially closed on Monday, November 11th, 2024, at noon, concluding the application period for local groups in Torry and Cove.
With over £100,000 in grants available, the fund has attracted diverse proposals from community groups and third-sector organisations that look to support with the local area with projects in areas like job skills, environmental sustainability, and heritage preservation.
Throughout the past month, the ACVO TSI team, managing the fund on behalf of ETZ Ltd, has worked closely with applicants, helping shape their ideas into actionable projects that could bring meaningful impact to the community. Details of successful applicants and their projects will be announced soon.
Sarah Irvine, Development Officer at ACVO TSI, shared her enthusiasm for the proposals received and the potential they hold for local residents.
“We’ve been deeply impressed by the vision and creativity that applicants have brought to the table,” Sarah commented. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see so many ideas aimed at improving the local area and supporting existing initiatives in Torry and Cove. We’re excited to announce the successful projects soon and look forward to seeing these community-driven initiatives come to life.”
